ABOUT
The Hamilton-Duval Charitable Trust was established in 2020 in support of the Arts in the United Kingdom.
The Trustees aim to help the students with fees on the last stage of opera studies.
The HD Trust welcomes nominations from institutions, colleges, opera studios or similar organisations in the United Kingdom with recognised relevant expertise. The head of the course representing the recommending institution or organisation must vouch for the competence and skill of those for whom they are applying and state how they were selected. Funding is available for the fees and maintenance grants of the students during their studies.
CRITERIA
To be eligible for the funding, the nominee must:

be nominated by an institution with the nomination coming directly from the head of the department

be a student on a Master's course of Opera studies or equivalent in any of the UK institutions, a member of the National Opera Studio or the Mascarade Opera Studio.

Please send us 2 videos of 2 operatic arias and a description of the financial needs of the nominee for the duration of their course.
